Medal Round Scoring
No points for a OT loss in the medal round. In the play in games you get 2 for a win plus your number. In the quarters you get the same plus one bonus point. Semi are the same plus 2 bonus points. The finals are the same with 3 bonus points. We will count the third place game but with no bonus points. If your team wins you get 2 plus your points. Pairings/Schedule
Preliminary Round Scoring
Each group has a point value kind of like our golf. There are 2 parts to it. Pool play and medal round. We will randomly draft draft order before the tourney. 1-12. At that point you will draft a team that is available. They are your team until the end of pool play. At the end of pool play we will redraft for the medal round using the opposite draft order from the pool play draft. Every team makes the medal round but there are 4 play in games to get it down to 8. Like I said we will redraft 12 teams so you will probably have a different team for the 2 rounds.
For Pool play you will get 2 points for a win (1 point for an overtime loss) plus the number of your team. Example if the US wins you would get 2 + 2=4 pts.
